How Beneficial Is Homework? The Pros and Cons.

Natalie's Podcast

About Me:

Welcome to my blog! My name is Natalie Chaidez and I'm a sophomore at Fenton High School. I'm in Accelerated English 2, and my teacher is Mrs. Pahl. For this class project, I chose to make my podcast about homework. As a student, I often hear many comments and opinions on homework, and deal with homework myself on a daily basis. I'm in some sports and clubs outside of school, such as volleyball, softball, student council, and NHS, which sometimes makes for a busy schedule with homework. I thought to share some of my ideas and statistics I found and talk about the pros and cons of homework.

Pitch:

Do you ever find yourself stressing about loads of homework, or staying up late just to complete it?

Many teenagers today, complain about the stress caused by heavy amounts of homework and how homework takes a toll on their mental and physical health.

So this leads to the question, does homework do more harm than good?
Or rather, does it shape us to become better students and more intelligent?

In this episode of “How Beneficial is Homework?”, we dive into these topics with students themselves. We discuss the pros and cons of homework, how the students personally feel about it, and how they believe it should be dealt with.
