Israel/Palestine Conflict

Maryam Ghanimah
Israel began to occupy Palestine in 1948 and continues to do so today. For this podcast episode, I brought in my mother Subheiah Ghanimah to give her own personal opinions on the issue since she was born in Palestine and still visits the country whenever she can. I am also a Palestinian and am very passionate about this topic. If you listen to this podcast, you will hear personal stories and facts about the Israel/Palestine conflict.

About me :): My name is Maryam Ghanimah.I was born in Palestine so I feel it is my duty to talk about the treatment of Palestinians at any oppurtunity I can get. Other than this topic I am passionate about many other things. I play basketball and softball. I also can crochet and I love cats. I have a cat named Jack and he's my sweet boy. He's 11 though, and may be dying soon which makes me sad but hey, he lived a good life. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the podcast!

  1. I'm glad I listened to this podcast because before, I wasn't very familiar with this topic. It's crazy seeing how much of Palestinian land has been taken away, and hearing your mother's passion for Palestine made even me a little emotional. I agree with her, this is not fair to Palestinians.
