Sewar's Blog

Hello, Welcome! My name is Sewar Jaber, I am a sophomore and I am a student in Mrs. Pahls accelerated English ll class. I am a member of Fenton's JV girls soccer team and I love to surround myself with the people I love                                      ❤️

Like most kids my age, I dread going to school. Thankfully, unlike other students, I am not afraid of going to school. I have a place, I feel like I belong. But the sad reality is, in America alone, we average one school shooting a week. Meaning that the place where kids and teens are sent to receive an education is where many lives were ended. Why do we live in a world where gun laws are weakened enough for a gun to be brought to school unnoticeably and used as a weapon? In a place where students are supposed to feel safe?
