Women's rights; has it really gotten better for us?

Women's Rights

Over the years women have sacrificed a lot to have the same rights as men. Now although they have protested and have earned many achievements such as the right to vote, has it really gotten better or does what women did to stand up to their rights make it seem like we have it better today? Sit back and listen as I, Hailey Esposito, interview my mother, Laura Billings about how things have progressed over the years and unfold the information about organizations like N.O.W.

Here is a picture from the 2017 Women's March in Washington D.C. where many women were protesting against president Trump and other men that had "disrespected" them in such ways as well as with words.

This is a picture from the early 1900s before the 19th amendment was passed in 1920 giving women the right to vote. You can see women on the streets protesting for the right to vote. Many women ended up arrested for causing disturbances in local neighborhoods but in the end, it was worth it because they had earned their right to vote.
