Hi there! My name is Abbygale Horvath and when I learned that the assignment had to be on something controversial, as well as something that had taken part in our life, something instantly popped into my mind.

      Last year, my older sister came out as bisexual. I believe this would be a good topic because when she decided to come out, both of my parents had very different opinions. My mom is okay with it, and just wants my sister to be happy, and to be herself. On the other hand, my dad had possessed an opinion on gays and such due to religious beliefs. Over time, my dad's views changed a bit and he learned to live with it. I was hoping to interview my dad, my mom, and my sister to get deeper into how they felt about the situation. On the downside, my dad didn't agree to do an interview because he didn't want to be looked at as the bad guy. 

   However, if you are interested in learning about how society has gotten to be accepting of the gay community as well as coming out in general, you may enjoy this podcast.
