A Students Life Episode 1: The Impacts of Scholarships Towards Low Income Students
Hello, my name is Lissette. I´m a sophomore in Ms. Millman´s Accelerated English 2 class.
As a high school student, I would think that most of us who attend high school come because of two reasons, reason 1, our parents make us come to school every day and reason 2, would be because we want a bright future for ourselves.
I want to go to college and I know most of us who are in high school also want to do the same, with that being said, I think that we can all agree college is expensive. More than 50% of students in the U.S. want to go to college, but many cannot afford college funds without the help of scholarships due to the fact that their families are low income. Scholarships are what most high school students work for in getting, they impact us as students in so many ways and motivate us to get good grades. In my podcast today I will be talking about some of the impacts scholarships execute towards low-income students.
