⭐Highschool Athletics⭐

The student-athletes will be taught important morals that will be incorporated into their practices. This will make them hard workers and focused scholars.

End Result Summary                       How does this affect those non-athletes and spectators?

As the coaches teach their athletes what it means to be successful in the sport and in the classroom, they will perform better and accel, making the team stronger and bring home more "W's". This will allow the playing field to start to level so that the sport becomes more competitive and enjoyable. These classes can make a good team into a great one.

Why coaches and not teachers or parents❓

Not only do coaches spend countless hours a week focusing on the individual athletes, but the amount of time spent together creates a secondary family bond between the athlete and coach. Teachers, limited to 45 minutes a day with a student, don't have the chance to teach their class more than the required subject material, "one on one" time is more difficult. Parents already influence the life of their child so much already, and the students already adapt so much from what they learn at home and need another perspective and guide in their life. To ensure that all athletes perform their best at the sport/in school, they need some guidance from a role model like a coach to make sure that they have the right mindset to work hard.

About the Author❗

I am #12 on the left
Personally, this relates to me because I play three high school sports, and I've noticed while watching the successful teams, that one of their many keys to winning, is having a strong team bond with each other and the coaches. These athletes that play so well together also prosper in school. It's much easier for athletes to perform better in their game when they have their own life, whether it be in or out of school, "put together"; their grades are improving and their mentally healthy so they can do their best.
