Let’s take a trip back to the year 1978. My father was just an ordinary 8th grader in Durango, Mexico going to school like everyone. Then disaster struck financially and forced him to drop out of school. Now, at the age of 54, he constantly has the thoughts of what his life could have been like if he had kept going to school. Many children today go through this same situation due to poverty and once they grow up they’ll have the “what if” thoughts like my father does. Is it really worth having many kids not get the education they want so they could be someone in life just because they didn't have enough money?

I was aware of this issue but I didn't realize how bad it actually is. A lot of us take education for granted and your podcast really puts it into a different perspective. Good Job!
ReplyDeleteYour topic is extremely unique and eye opening. There are so many things we take advantage of, and it's unsettling to think about how other people don't have that chance because of finances. Poverty is so real and needs to be discussed more. Everyone has a right to education, not just those who are financially able.
ReplyDeleteI like the background information. The pictures are very impactful. They are definatly eye openers.
