Not as Sweet as You Thought- Julia Rihani

Hi, my name is Julia, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I LOVE chocolate, so much that I usually can't go a day without eating a little bit of it. I started to wonder what my fascination was with chocolate, and sugar, in general. After my parents went on the keto diet, a diet where you don't ANY sugar, I began to realize how present sugar is and how hard it is to cut out of your diet. This was the inspiration for my podcast, I wanted to know what made sugar so addicting. After researching the history and science behind sugar addiction and obesity, I came up with some interesting results and found out that sugar is not as sweet as we might have thought. I hope you like it!
