In Real Life Talks, Lylli Rodriguez speaks on the difference created on those of different color and race. The United States of America is made up of about 14.5% immigrants. Have you ever thought about what it’s like to be an immigrant? Anybody could be listening to this. An Italian, Russian, etc. Notice how I didn’t say Mexican, African, or Indian? That’s because many times, one forgets that although they might have white skin color, it does not mean that they are not immigrants. At least 25% of US residents under the age of 18 are first or second generation immigrants. So why are so many of us (me as a girl who was born in Mexico and brought when I was 2) have to stand racist comments without talking back? Why not inform and make a change? Make sure to listen in on what an undocumented immigrant has to say about this for herself.

    Although I was not able to hear your podcast, your pitch made it very clear on what message you wanted to spread. Changes should be made on how immigrants are treated because they are just as human as any person born here. I am very interested on how your podcast turned out and hopefully I will be able to actually listen to it. From the looks of your profile page I could imagine it came out very well.
